Kramer’s Bookstore With its selection of books, cozy cafe and restaurant, solarium patio, bar, and a history of visits from notables like Barack Obama and Maya  Angelou, Kramer’s Bookstore is an iconic D.C. institution. Open daily from 8am - 10pm (9pm on Sundays), it’s a gathering spot for locals, tourists, students, and politicians, hosting author events and serving as a community hub. Often crowded, it complements the Bohemian vibe of the Dupont Circle neighborhood.
